Auction Rules
- All 16 teams are auctioned to the highest bidder
- Any one (or group) can bid on any team
- You can own more than one team
- Opening bids begin at $150
- Bidding increases by at least $25 increments
- Minimum bids required for certain prizes*
- Payment by check, cash or pledge card
Prize Selection
- Selection Saturday after the last match (about 4:30)
- Prizes selected by owners in order of team finish
- Since there are two draws (mixed & men’s doubles), two teams will each finish 1st- 8th
- As between same place-finish teams, the highest bidder has priority selection; in case of equal bids, a coin flip will break the tie
- A team owner who may not be present, may rank prize preferences from 1-20 on a Calcutta Prize List
- Minimum bids required for certain prizes; more than 16 prizes are listed (see Calcutta Prize List)
